Incorporated in 1972 by Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, our purpose and aim is to provide an environment which develops, fosters and promotes the understanding that we are not separate from God, or I AM, through various physical, mental, intellectual, spiritual and healing disciplines. We offer instruction in Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Sanskrit study, Yoga Philosophy and Music, as well as workshops in breathing, movement, stress reduction and deep relaxation. At Our Location We provide a residential program for training in yoga, meditation and Sanskrit. The ashram holds weekly programs of silent Meditation, Vedic Fire ceremony and sanskrit chanting. The public is invited to our group meditations free of charge. Our building is a spacious Queen Anne Victorian manor house with meditation hall, classrooms, a gift shop, treatment rooms, sauna, sun deck and a beautiful Vedic temple.

My favorite teacher is Viveka, just one of several, knowledgeable, patient people working at the Y.S.S.F. Friendly, uplifting atmosphere, lots of other activities going on in addition to yoga classed (like Sanskrit, Indian music concerts etc).

Pros: Friendly, Eclectic
