unreliable... Called and went in for an estimate on a minor repair, was given a printed low quote and was told I would be contacted once the part had arrived (the repair involved replacing a part). Called a week later, was told they are still waiting. A couple days later I called again and was told the same thing. Needless to say I got it done elsewhere, which only took 3 days total. Never received a call back from them.

the bomb. rich is the nicest guy in the world. honest. does all the little extras that mean so much. no one likes getting their car bashed up....but working with rich really makes everything about crashing, insurance companies, deductibles, and rental cars not so bad at all!

don't even think of going anywhere else.

ps- he moved to 180 potrero ave.....real nice place!!

A car guy you can trust. This place is for real. The first estimate I got from the competition for repairing a scraped and dented rear panel was $2500; 2nd estimate, $1850: Rich's price, $700. Rich drove my wife to the BART when she dropped the car off, he was on time in getting the job done, the quality was superb, and he is a nice guy to boot. When I told him I found him on the Web, he joked that he had written all the reviews. Not so. The raves you read are for real...including this one.

Rich's Auto Body has moved-it's the new-and-improved version.... Rich has a beautiful new shop on Potrero (a block down from 16th)- he has all this state-of-the-art equipment but still has amazingly reasonable rates. I've been sending him friends for years because it's really tough to find a decent body shop in this town. Rich has taken care of my cars for ten years and you couldn't pay me to go anywhere else.

Great Service!. Rich has the best auto body shop! He gives honest estimates, works with the insurance company and gets your car back quickly. I took my car to him twice (once for a key scratchs and the second for a wheel stricking the vehicle). He has the best customer service and quality of work.

bad luck with cars, great luck with rich. city living is like going through battle with your car. this is my second time with rich and i would hate to go anywhere else. super friendly, trustworthy, looks out for your best. real patient at explaining damages and options. super quick with super quality too. great guy and great shop!!!

A+++ Auto Body Shop. I have been taking my many cars there throughout the last 10 years. Rich is the best. He provides great service & quality work. There is no one out there as honest & accomodating as Rich - he handles everything. He runs his business with integrity and I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

Bryan. This guy was awesome. I dropped off my car, which had the passenger side ripped off in a minor accident. Rich not only repaired all of the damage from the accident, he also repaired other minor dings and scratches for a minimal extra charge. Also, while painting the extraneous parts, he had my car dropped off at an auto repair shop to fix the brakes and replace the tires. My car came back as if it were brand new. I would highly recommend Rich's Body Shop!
