Great Bike Selection!. Really helpful in building up a new bike. My only gripe is when they are really backed up with work.... they had a mix-up on my installation, but did resolve it after things slowed down.

Great customer service, they stayed late to put my new single speed bike together.. I bought a single-speed bike from Freewheel on Valencia last month and am pleased with their service and my new bike. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a bike. I went to six other shops in the city, and this one had the bikes I was looking for. They stayed late to put my bike together the day it arrived.

Definition of LBS. There is no reason you shouldn't feel comfortable putting your bike in their hands. These guys ride - you can see it in the builds they have on their store bikes. Every component looks right on. They are friendly and unpretentious. They will help you based on your knowledge and from what I can tell, if you have no knowlege that's fine too. I racked my bike in the shop and the owner looked my bike over and made some helpful adjustments without any question. He gave me tips and even put a spacer on my steerer tube because I had incorrectly spaced my stem....That's service! They have great prices on wrench work, and I will be taking my bike to them for service from now on. Great shop, and great bikes.

BEST Bike shop in SF Nice Staff Quality products!. Been riding bikes in SF for 15 yrs (beach cruisers to fixed gear), I have found Freewheel to be the best quality honest best priced & over all friendly. I thought i'd be looked down upon for not knowing how to do minor adjustments, They made me feel at ease & actually helped me learn a few tricks!

great service and great prices!. bought 4 bikes from freewheel. they have the most competitive prices and their repair service is really good.

Mediocre customer service. Beware of Freewheel Bicycle's return policy. When you buy something, they will offer to "recycle" the box for you. What they won't point out is that, without the box, you won't be able to return the product.
