I am so not a Mission girl.. Cider for $4 is not bad and the people watching is very interesting but the decor is trying to hard and the place smells.

I had a beer here. I had two Hefeweizens here but then I was totally distracted by the paintings of nekkid chicks on the wall that I couldn't focus on enjoying my beers. Fail.

Crowded but fun. There isn't many places to sit which creates a problem when you are wearing heals. If you don't mind standing though this place can be great fun. The atmosphere is casual and light. There are paintings of curvey women lining the walls, which are fun to look at. Dont forget your cash the bar tenders seem to get irritated and skip over you the next round if you ask them if it is cash only(most places in SF are). The people are usually fun and easy to talk to although the weekend nights do bring the yuppies around. Over all good- i like it!

Eclectic Mission lounge where folks from all walks of life collide over liquid gold.. A vibrant orange-red hue casts a fiery glow over this haunt. In addition to stools lining the very long bar, several leather couches provide loungy seating options in the back under velvet paintings of voluptuous nude women. There's nothing out of the ordinary about the bar, but drinks are $1-2 cheaper across the board than you'll find at most bars in the area. DJ's spin eclectic music, from British electro-pop to 60's swing, though you'll rarely if ever hear top 40 song. Typical of the Mission, the clientele is part flannel-clad hipster and part neighborhood barfly.

awesome service. i like this place, really good jukebox during the day and good djs that really vary during the nights, fun barstaff that are fast, and if its slow are crazy(in a good way),the drinks are strong and cheap, the weekends are not for me as most of the mission is taken over by yuppies and this place is no exception,i have had some really good times here during the week.i wish they served bottled beer, excellent decor.
