Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Casual Mission hangout features weeknight happy hour specials, pool table, and live music almost every night.
Great bar to kick back at. Great little local bar with live music (with a very good sound system): Extremely nice staff and owners, nice decor, pool table and centipede game (sweet!) in back, cheap drinks, good juke box selection, good crowd & vibe. Has all the essentials of the perfect neighborhood bar. Totally worth the trip. (extra++: 49 bus picks up right at the front door, taxis plentiful).
Comfortable Bar. This is a comfortable, clean bar in the Outer Mission. Service is good, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere is hip but not freakish. The jukebox is not your standard obnoxious bar music. There are people there but it's not wall to wall. Overall I liked this place. I'd definitely go back.
Can't Argue With Argus.
The bar was a nice change from what's around this god forsaken neighborhood.
We were served immieatly upon arriving at our barstools. That's very important to a new customer. No one likes to be ignored.
The bartender was very knowledgable about her station and was very attractive.
Upon leaving, after two Rye and Gingers, I tipped a very generous 13% and left happy.
