Editorial Review for Phone Booth – by Citysearch Editors
The Scene
Located off any beaten path, Phone Booth attracts a mixed bag of friendly folks--from older neighborhood regulars who start their day with a cocktail to young punky lesbians and rock-and-roll straights. The place is tiny, with some stools at the bar, a few tables and chairs across from it, and a pool table squeezed into the room. Despite itself, the Phone Booth has a great reputation and can get crowded on the weekends. Of course, that only takes 20 people.

this place is always fun. I cant pinpoint the attraction but i always leave drunk and smiling. The bartenders are charnming and poor heavy, the decor is trashy chic, complete with a barbie doll chandalier. It's small and it can get crowded but the best part of this place is it attracts a mix of hipsters, locals, regulars, boys girls, gay, straight ,and it all seems to work just fine. Kinda like a city, divey, freakshow, Cheers. Love it.

Great, funky atmosphere with random, fun crowd seemingly in the middle of nowhere -- good jukebox.
