Editorial Review for The Mission Bar – by Camper English
In Short
This simple watering hole sparkles like it's brand-new. The high-ceilinged, rectangular room features a long, wooden bar with bar stools, a pool table and big, black vinyl booths. Long-haired men and women with tattoos are in abundance, probably on their off-nights from Zeitgeist, Lucky 13 and band practice. There's also a healthy contingent of Latin folks in their 40s, who've probably lived in the neighborhood their whole lives.

The Mission Bar has a great unpretentious, laid back, cozy, and friendly atmosphere. The back room, which opens up on busy nights, has an amazing hand-painted wall mural that captures the friendly and drink-happy feel of this bar.
Pros: Good Street Parking, Friendly Bartenders, Pool Table
