What People Are Saying About Dovre Club

In Short – The interior walls are decorated with random kitsch--trophies, painted country landscapes and what could be a college freshman's art project. Christmas lights and two TVs sit above the bar, where down-to-earth (and sometimes flirty) bartenders pour cocktails and pints from 14 available tap beers. The bar is rarely packed and the back room features a pool table and plenty of group-seating options: two vinyl couches and mismatched tables and chairs. –

The best of Ireland and America at one place and a great history behind it. Plus, down home charm, great drinks and fun fun fun juke box.
- Pros: personalities, cheap
- Cons: need more chips

This is the ultimate, no frills bar in the mission. The history of its Irish owner alone makes it a worthwhile trip...talk to Brian..couches in the back, pool and darts...had a lot of fun here.
Nicest bartender EVER....

If you go to the Dovre, try to make it on Thurs afternoon, when the wee brunnette with the carefree smile is tending bar. She makes me feel like I'm at home in Ireland.....so much at home that I fall asleep sometimes.
