In Short
Since 1975, the machismo set have made this a second home for super-cheap Pacifico and ample table space for a game of chess. And food? It's here if you want it--generous Mediterranean offerings, plus the usual salads and sandwiches. Unlike most cafes, this one doesn't keep regular hours, and on weekend nights, the beer, wine and conversation can flow late.

I sometimes visit this family owned coffe shop in the mission located right across from the bart station. They have a very nice service person, Glena, who always has a smile on her face. She is friendly and will give you whatever you ask for, even if its not on the menu. The coffee is strong and its always pretty busy. But there are alot of people loitering outside. Its a good place to visit only in the day. Also I tried some of their lunch specials and did not really like the food. But I go for the coffee.

I don't go down to the mission very often, but, when i do, I make sure to come to this cafe. The customer service is excellent and the family who owns the shop are very humble and thankful for business. I love their coffee because it is pretty strong, and they make the best breakfast and lunch. This is a great place to go to if you are in the mission and want to find a cafe with a great cup of coffee and relax for a little while. I would recommend this cafe to everyone.

Cafe La Boheme is a great little coffee shop on Mission Street. It is run by a husband and wife and their 2 children. They are very friendly and warm to the customers. Their specialty is the coffee. The coffee is good and strong. And if you want to play a pick up game of chess, then this is the place. A great little find in the Mission.
