Tacos Al Vapor cart here is full of intriguing choices from Buche to Lengua. This is a busy hub of activity and so it feel like you've stepped into the third world. Authenticity points for sure. Unbeatable prices as well. Burritos rock so make it a group trip for all the Faves.

Most authentic tacqueria in the Bay Area.. I am totally amazed with this place. A co-worker enticed us to try his favourite tacqueria in the Mission. Walking in was like stepping into an authentic Puerto Vallarta restaurant - the tile decor, wall murals, background music and the absence of spoken English. We sampled the tacos: carne asada, el pastor and lingua. All quite amazing and made in the most unique manner. We'll definitely be back for more tacos and also to sample the mariscos and other fare. Plus, the tacos are so damn cheap, you can easily stuff yourself for under $10.00.

SF's Best Street Taco. The street tacos at the sidewalk barbacoa cart are really the best in San Francisco. I like the carne asada and chorizo, but the cabeza, suaderno and tripas are a clue that this is the real-deal ... that and the fact that they're not shy about grilling up the tortillas with a splash of lard, right in front of you. Served on paper plates at $1.50 a pop, they're the no-frills, best deal for this type of Mexican street food. It's authentic and still undiscovered, unlike the deservedly-recognized La Taqueria. If you can get into pretending you're vacationing in Mexico, the fussball table and jukebox decor is almost quaint. This is a great place to take friends from out of town for a uniquely SF Mission experience.
