Consistently good quality over the years!. I started patronizing this establishment in 1986. The food has always been exceptionally tasty! The owners (who are the manager and chef) are people who care about quality in regard to food preparation, and definitely care about the dining experience of their customers. This is an awesome place to go -- not only in Bernal Heights, but in all of San Francisco, in my opinion!

Consistently the best Thai food in town. Thai friends introduced us to this restaurant many years ago. When we went back without them, we discovered their food was equally excellent.

This is a very small restaurant in the Mission district. No luxury place.

But they have a passion for cooking outstanding Thai food.

To be honest, unless we are invited to other places, we only eat Thai food at Dusit Thai.

good food, good price. the last reviewer needs to get over herself! this place is an unpretensious, simple restaurant that serves really good food at a really good price. it's not fancy or showy, and it's not a "destination spot" for hipsters looking to see and be seen. the coconut chicken soup and hot and sour shrimp soup are always delicious, and they have a really great seafood salad full of fresh seafood with cilantro and lime and onions. the curries are yummy, and the broccoli is always cooked perfectly. i have no complaints... especially since everyone is so friendly!

Huh?. This restaurant came highly recommended, and I was sorely disappointed. The "Thai BBQ Chicken" was actually chicken cutlets in "American" bbq sauce like you'd find at a ribs restaurant. The food varied; some was quite good, though none was exceptional. Other dishes, like the bbq chicken and the chicken coconut soup (SALTY!!) were real disappointments. Service was beyond slow, though friendly, and rice was doled out stingily (they gave us each a spoonful and then took it away)(but still charged full price). With all the great restaurants in the city, I can't see myself returning here. Sub-par at best. An empty restaurant on a Sat. night should be a clue.

Excellent Thai. Be careful when asking for "Thai hot" because these guys really know what it means! Delicious food with very friendly service. Although lamb isn't exactly authentic Thai, I love their lamb special dish with the rice noodles. Their crispy basil with shrimp appetizer is also a favorite. The waiters are very accommodating, even when dealing with a particularly difficult dinner guest of mine.

Yummmmm!. I just moved to the neighborhood & was worried about not having convenient, good Thai food. (I really like our place in the old hood.) We gave Dusit Thai a shot, & I'm so happy! It's so modest from the outside, but the food is delicious and fresh. Service is wonderful.
