We Be Cheap!. I love going to 'We Be Sushi', especially when I'm short on cash. It's cheap, the staff is friendly and once you're inside, you get an "at home" feel. However, if you're looking for a trendy hotspot to be seen, this isn't the place to be. But it's a great place to get a quick sushi fix.

Proven, once again.... Reading the reviews can make you unsure of your own opinions. Luckily my faith in We Be Sushi was reaffirmed for me last night. My girlfriend and I had much more sushi than we should of... we just had to order MORE! The White Tuna was the unexpected champion of the evening, butterlicious melt in your mouth wonderful, that is how I would describe it. Go elsewhere if you are looking for hottie waitstaff or to "be seen", for tasty sushi this is the place.

Great Food w/o glitter+hype. bottom line: Great food. Great people. Great prices. I prefer 22nd and Valencia location over the rest.

Who's stuffing the ballot box?. I've got nothing against cheap sushi, if that's your top criterion, but I've actually had better sushi from the supermarket. Were they giving discounts in exchange for patrons voting on Citysearch?

I'd wholeheartedly recommend Yo Yo Restaurant at 16th and Valencia. Very good fish at surprisingly reasonable prices.

cheap sushi & nice ppl!. Very nice people with a good sense of humor. (I ordered wonton soup by accident and they had a good laugh about it in the kitchen - at least their happy!) Good sushi for great prices! Its small and there can be a wait. Excellent place to get your quick sushi fix, but not your traditional San Francisco trendy Japanese Sushi bar-type place if thats what youre looking for. GREAT place to have in the neighborhood!!! :D

Can't Believe WeBSushi is #1 !!!. I can't believe We Be Sushi is #1!!!! Disgusting sushi, designed strictly for american mass consumption/production. Granted, it's cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for, and it's mediocre at best. Not only is the We B Sushi fish stale most of the time, the ratio fish/rice is ridiculous!!! Tiny pieces of borderline spoiled fish atop gobs of sloppily assembled rice balls!!! Go if you like fishy-tasting cold rice, otherwise, do yourself a favor and go for the real thing: Save your hard-earned bucks and go to Ebisu or Amberjack, where at least the experience will satisfy you until the next visit your wallet can afford. The enjoyment and satisfaction far outweigh the higher price.

Horrible Sushi for cheap. When your budget is $15-20, you never find good sushi. But if you want something similar/look like sushi, you should visit We BE Sushi again. I prefer having good sushi once a month than visitng We Be Sushi 3 times a month...

Again, this is my preference. My opinion, we be sushi use real cheap fish and warm sushi rice (rice for sushi must be room temp.).

Easy on the Pocket Book. Perhaps I don't the refined pallate of most San Francisco diners, but as far as I'm concerned this place is a bargain. The biggest drawback to sushi for me has always been price. It usually requires a major investment. We Be makes for a nice alternative in this regard, although some true afficianados may not think the savings are worth it.
