This Mission Mexican haunt is all about choices. First there's the menu, featuring everything from tostadas to fish tacos to gourmet-style burritos with odd ingredients like Thai peanut sauce, cactus, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Then there's the post-order barrage of questions: beans (refried or black), tortilla (flour, wheat, chipotle, tomato or spinach), salsa (a whole slew of spiciness from a serve-yourself bar), beverage (beer, soda, horchata). Perfect for lunch!
by ksjjj
My boss took me here for lunch last when we had meetings in the neighborhood and it was delicious. I now have a new spot for great mexican in the Mission. I had super tacos with rice and beans and I was so full, great protion size and the price was perfect, even though I didn't have to pay. The ambiance is bright and colorful and the people who work here are so lovely as well. I will definately stop back in for a filling meal when I am in the neighborhood!
- Pros: everything
- Cons: Nothing, this place is lovely!
Great Burritos & Service
by mark
I enjoy this place everytime I'm in the Mission on sales calls. My order is the Chicken super burritto. Warmed tortilla, stuffed with mesquite chicken off the grill, tasty Spanish rice, gaucamole, salsa, lettuce and sour cream- it is simply the best and the line moves quick. Chips on the side and it is a perfect "big" lunch for when you are really hungry. Take it to go or eat inside. The place is clean and the ladies behind the counter are friendly, quick with their service and make the best burritos.

The Details on Mariachi's Taqueria
Where to Sit:
This taqueria is not typically as busy (or tiny) as some of the other burritophile locations in the Mission, so finding seating shouldn't be a problem.
What to Drink:
Have a beer with your burrito--there's more than just your usual Tecate and Corona choices.
