Independent video store stocks foreign flicks, cult classics and mainstream movies in DVD and video; small selection available for purchase.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- There is a $5 minimum on credit card purchases.
- Save Money:
- Purchase a "block" and each rental is discounted.
- The Extras:
- Coffee, lattes and hot chocolates are dished up from the counter; Faye's also sells the NY Times, San Francisco Chronicle and Wall Street Journal.
Great indie video place
by mk_blue_70 at Citysearch
One of the best independent video stores left. Expect a selection of great cult classc and indie flicks. If you want J-Lo's "Maid in Manhatten," get your stupid butt to Blockbuster, but if you want Wong Kar Wai's "In the Mood for Love," they can hook you up. Plus, cute staff, GREAT coffee drinks (and beats waiting in the line at the coffee place across the street) and they sell the NY Times. What more could you want for a neighborhood video store?
- Pros: Cute staff, Great selection, Delicious coffee
- Cons: Less mainstream flick
