My only regret is that we just got to spend one night here. From our gracious greeting by the doorman (after an ill-considered walk UP Nob Hill) to the bellman offering us a complimentary pot of tea. It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals.us They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

For Dogs Only. Terrible, we had a room next door that was rented to put dogs in! That's right 3 dogs while the owners were in the penthouse. We were told repeatedly that our bill would be adjusted but they never did. As we checked out there was another party checking out that was also very unhappy. Absolutely a no!

the hotel was so charming.. Going back to our room every night was a pleasure, we actually enjoyed being lazy at night because the hotel was so charming.

I would definitely stay there. It was very nice and close enough to walk to Japan Town every night for dinner. I would definitely stay there again if not for my desire to explore other parts of the city.

The staff was incredibly helpful.. If you're like me and you base your decision to stay at a hotel only after studying reviews, trust me... stay here. The decor is amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful.

Quiet for city hotel. Excellent value for money. Good location, very handy for cable cars and many areas in easy walking distance. Quiet for city hotel. Staff helpful, and bed comfortable.

It was reasonably priced. The location was ideal. The bed was comfortable. Though limited, it was nice to have a continental breakfast available. It was reasonably priced.

The bedding and linens were top notch. The staff/owners were very friendly and accommodating; they made good recommendations on things to see and do. The room was beautifully decorated in the victorian style. The lamps were exquisite and the jacuzzi tub was a pleasant surprise. The bedding and linens were top notch. It was a special birthday for my husband (which they knew) and so we felt we were treated especially well, but I suspect they treat all their customers like that... We would definitely stay there again.
