Editorial Review for Broadway Manor Inn – by Gayot.com
The Scene
This property is more akin to a motel than an inn, as its name suggests. The neighborhood is noisy, and the furnishings are on the older side, but you can't beat the rates. As for the location, it does the trick. It is a 10-minute drive to Union Square; 20 minutes will deliver you to Fisherman's Wharf.
The Details
If you consider beds an amenity, then your options are many--kings, queens or two doubles. For those who require Internet access, it is necessary to request a room equipped with a data port. Guests are sure to appreciate the bathrooms. They are new, clean and surprisingly spacious. A coffee shop provides java and basic fare. One of the best deals here is the parking in a covered garage. It's free.

When vacationing in San Francisco, there are several things to keep in mind. Location is probably the most important and parking would come second. These were two things I was looking for when booking a reservation in early May; close proximity to touristy places, and a place to park my rental. With that much said, I would recommend the Broadway Manor Inn. Considering it was summer, the rates were reasonable. The free parking was a huge plus and its location walking distance to Fishermans Wharf, Polk Street, Crookedest Street and the Golden Gate Bridge made seeing the hotspots easy. The rooms were much nicer than expected (they looked brand new), coming with wireless internet, A/C, a fridge and a coffeemaker. This was a quality stay for a great price.
Pros: Great service and newly renovated rooms

We were on vacation and we wanted to stay somewhere close to Pashas (unique mediterranean restaurant). Our daughter went there at her last visit to SF and told us to go there when in SF. Broadway Manor was perfect because it was close to Pashas and there was free parking. We were able to travel around San Francisco and know that we can come back to our hotel without worrying about about finding a spot for our car. San Francisco's weather is perfect in October and we wereable to walk to our favorite spots on fisherman's wharf and union street. A special thanks to Nalin for helping us with restaurant recommendations!
