A hotel for people on a budget.. In Short
There's minimal atmosphere, no view to speak of, institutional-blue carpeting, and old furniture in this hotel. But the newly painted walls, bright bedspreads and cleanliness add some cheer, making the James Court a strong consideration for the budget-minded. It's a nice, long walk from here to Union Square, but just a block to the Polk Street business area, which features a variety of shops and restaurants plus a number of movie houses. The James Court offers 36 rooms, laundry facilities, fax machines, and cable television. Garage parking is available for $12 per day.
