Fiona is the best bartender EVER!!!. I would like to say hello to Fiona, My name is Susy and i have been to Baccus Kirk quite a few times over the years. I think she is an excellent bartender, so is George!! If it would be ok for me to contact Fiona via letter please let me know= redheadsusy@yahoo.co.uk I have recently returned to England and i really miss Baccus, my brother Paul is still there (Lucky Him) but i would like to explain to Fiona what happened since i left. Thanks to the owners Sharon and Jason for having this wonderful place for people to have a fantastic night out.

slightly lame. Nothing wonderful to say about this place. Too loud, too dark, lazy and rude bar staff who can't grasp the concept of 'customer service' whilst too busy socializing with each other. Mix of clientele and not always pleasant so quite a cornicopia.

I like it... sorta. I am not sure how to review this place as I have no strong feelings one way or the other. I like to stop in for drinks now and then, but I am not really a fan of the music (too loud). If they turned it down a little and added some more comfy seats this place could be an awesome lounge.

great crowd very good mix up of people. i have been in san francisco for 14 years and i can say without a doubt this is a hang out spot.. very chill. i go theyre about once every two weeks. small strange indoor outdoor smoking area. great staff. they could use some new cue sticks thou. overall i dig it

Hip but still a good spot.. A different bar than what it was... now hip with a good CD player with a variety of music. The trivia contest is fun.

Longtime neighborhood bar goes hip and arty, but leaves the attitude at home.. The Scene
The long bar leads past the fireplace and back to the pool table and a jukebox packed with Britpop and classic rock. Wooden beams, brickwork, brown upholstery and modern red glass lamps make for a cool, rustic charm that attracts a younger blend of neighborhood residents, Art College students, and downtown workers.

The Draw
The owner's Scottish, so the Scotch selection is impressive, with various older single and blended malts. Weekends get busy with a singles crowd eager to sip custom martinis (try the tartly creamy Vanilla Lemon Drop) or icy Guinness, Stella or Anchor Steam drafts. Friendly bartenders and a mellow crowd make this a good spot for one drink or making a night of it.

Cool little spot. I am so happy to have discovered this spot. Where else can see "the game" on TV, shoot some stick AND relax by a fireplace. I have been looking for a chill place where you can see sports on TV that's not a sports bar. (don't be scared by their website...it doesn't do the place justice!)

Great place!. Excellent! Groovy! All right! The atmosphere is absolutly the best. One of the best places in San Francisco.
