Good pizza, great sevice. Very good pizza and entrys. The staff is attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. Never an attitude. A great value too.

Italian Comfort Food. Besides the excellent pizza, Victor's menu centers around classic pastas (spaghetti, linguini, fettucini) and classic sauces (Marinara, Bolognese, Alfredo, pesto, burro). Mix and match as you like, and add Italian sausage or a (huge) meatball. The wonderful garlic bread has LOTS of garlic (hurrah!) and there is a nice selection of special dishes if you're not in the mood for pizza or pasta. My only complaint has been with the pesto sauce: it has far too much cream for my taste.

THIS PLACE ROCKS THE HIZZZOUSE. If you want pizza, this is the place to go. Don't waste your time anywhere else. This is the bomb!!!!!!!!!

I lived directly above another neighborhood pizza joint for 3 years and always made the extra effort to get Victors. As many of the other reviewers have written Victor's Pizza is highly addictive.

THE BEST PIZZA IN SF!!. I lived in the Polk area for 5 years and I think that was my favorite restuarant ever -isn't that funny? No seriously, everyone who works there is great and remembers your face with a smile, and the thin crust za is out of this world. Now I live all the way near Stonestown, but will drive out there just for a slice. I think the interior is very old-school and cozy, and the pasts is made fresh daily, as is the thick, spicy red sauce. Try it - you will be converted to a VictorHead :).

the standard. My experience with Victor's is generally delivered and almost exclusively pizza. The rest of the menu--and the joint itself--may be unremarkable, but Victor's Pizza is the standard by which thin-crust pizza should be measured.

California cuisine is a wonderful thing, but pizza is east coast food. Victor's isn't the best in the world, but it is probably the best in town--and certainly good enough to pass muster with any afficianado.

And as for attitude--it's a pizza joint. They work hard and make a good pie. Those seeking sleek design and witty reparte with their pizza will be disappointed.

YUMMMMM!!!. My boyfriend and I eat here at least twice a week. The food is soooo good. I think even a little addicting. Try the chicken parmigian. If you like to eat tons of food for reasonable prices, victors is the place for you. The pizza ia delicious too, and the italian salad dressing they have. I just made myself hungry. I am off to go there to eat.

I'm starving for some. I don't understand what the Citysearch reviewer is talking about. He makes it sound like this place is Blondie's or Fat Slice. This is some of the best pizza I've had in SF. I'm about to order some now. The sauce tastes fresh and has a bright, spicy flavor. The cheese is delicious too. Big yums.

THe Best Pizza in the Bay Area. I've tried dozens of pizza places in the Bay Area and Victor's is by far the best pizza. The crust is perfectly crusty and the toppings are fresh and plentiful! The closest thing to NY pizza!

great crust and garlicky pizza. I have to admit, I have never dined here. But we probably order their pizza for delivery at least once in two weeks. The crust is on the thin side and crispy. Sauce has quite some garlic in there- its sooo good. As for toppings, their sausage is REALLY tasty (the Canadian Bacon/Ham is not). We even have friends that come over to our place to have Victor's pizza!

Owner needs new attitude. Ordered 8 XL pizzas and 2 Caesar salads to be delivered for 20 people. Got instead 2 large catering style House Salads costing $70.

Called owner, who said I did not know how to order since 2 salads would not be enough for 20 people - never said everyone would be having salad. Didnt care that I was a repeat customer that ordered large quantities of pizza still placed the blame of the mistake on me.

Victor's took back the salads and didn't charge us. Didnt offer to redeliver the original salads without a long wait or the attitude.

I use to make large orders from Victor's all the time, but I got no apology - even after telling him this was our last order. Owner needs to put aside his pride and learn some customer service skills before I spend another dime there.
