What People Are Saying About Victor's Pizza

In Short – Diner-style booths, dim green lights, a latticework wood ceiling and linoleum tabletops give this place a colorful patchwork feel. At night a post-bar scene congregates around the thin-crust pie, which features a fine tomato sauce and plenty of quality ingredients. The red-sauce menu also has old standards like stuffed pastas and chicken marsala.
Editor's Tips
- When to Go:
- Open until 12:30am on weekends and situated near plenty of Polk St. bars, this is a popular spot for a midnight slice.
- Where to Sit:
- Sit-down diners should try a booth in the more atmospheric rear room and avoid the stale eating area to the right of the kitchen.
My favorite Pizza anywhere

We live in Sacramento so can't eat here as often as we would like, but every trip to SF includes lunch or dinner here. I love thin crust pizza and this is delicious. We have eaten here about 6 times and the pizzas have been perfect every time.
Best thin crust pizza

I love thin crust pizza, but I am pretty picky about pizza. This place is great. I have never ordered inside, but have done take out twice. They make the pizza so fast, I couldn't even believe it! The only one weird their is their restroom. It is kind of in a weird place. You have to walk through the kitchen which was awkward. Next time I am in this neighborhood, I will definitely be getting some more of Victor's (and his pizza)!
- Pros: Fast service, yummy pizza
- Cons: Creepy bathroom

This place makes the best pizza in the city... hands down. Delivery service is pretty good. Five stars!
Best Overall Italian-American
by scoday at Citysearch
If that is a category, I spent ten years with an Italian American wife, straight out of Brooklyn with an NYPD cop father. Talk about an Italian family, and boy was the food ever good - out of this world! So, when I stepped into Victor's I knew there was something to the place. The sheer tackiness of the interior, combined with no nonsense service I thought I took the wrong exit off the BQE. Victor's or Vic's as I like to call it serves up absolutely the best Italian American style food in San Francisco. This stuff is 100% delicious 100% of the time, the anti pasta is the best around and the price is right. All of the pasta's are homemade (If you don't believe me just go through the bathroom which takes you through the kitchen you will see them making it) and the sauces are out of this world. Never had a bad meal, comes with good bread, Italian American style (with butter not oil and garlic). I am going to say it is romantic, because you know what with a partner you love, a bottle of the cheap wine it's really quaint, not hipster, not pretentious , just real.
- Pros: Any pasta dish, anti pasta, bread before the meal yum
- Cons: Bathroom location is a little "strange", can't eat there every night
