Great food for a price.

Hahn's serves delicious food. Their barbecue items, particularly the shortribs, are top-notch. Unfortunately, even with such good food, the prices are too steep. I usually go in with my girlfriend and our bill comes out to a little less then $30.00. However, the last time I went there I came alone. I ordered the shortrib dish with kimchee and a soft-drink. The total bill came out to $18.00 without tip. To me, that's way too pricey for one meal and I simply felt that I didnt get my money's worth. This is the only Korean restaurant Ive come across that charges for kimchee. There are other Korean restaurants in the city that serve just as good food with better prices (Sorabol comes to mind). Its unfortunate that the prices at this restaurant knocked what wouldve been a 5-star rating to only a 3-star.
- Pros: Excellent barbecue
- Cons: Prices are too high
Use to be better

I use to frequent this restaurant all the time because I work in the neighborhood, but I have to admit that the quality has gone down while the prices has gone up. I remember the portions were so much bigger back then but after the new owners\managers($) have taken over it has not been the same. It's ashame because I use to love this restaurant when Mihi(the original owner) was around. She was always pleasant and talkative.
- Pros: cozy feel
- Cons: parking
Not worth the money

I had high hopes for Hans. I had heard from locals in my neighborhood that it was a great local place to find some outstanding food. The BBQ is 'ok', but the sides are a joke. The chunks of lettuce and the tablespoon of cold, funky spouts they try to pass as sides is embarassing. Normally I don't put much value on the side dishes, but when you are paying $8.50 for lunch at a hole-in-the wall you expect greatness, especially if you are looking for a place to frequent.
