EAT HERE! One of my favorite Thai spots in the bay for over a decade.

Prices are below average and food is way above average. Everybody that works there is so sweet.

Try their more specialty menu items. The standards (currys, pad thai and so on) are really good,especially for the price,but the specialties are surprisingly good.

Good pick for vegetarians too!

pink loves you. excellent!!!!!!!!!! the food waas so good o mi goodness the appearance of the food was delicious and tantazing i love this restaurent so much. they always make the most authentic thai food ever and its easy to get to location convienent and didnt cost a whole lot

Great authentic thai food. This is best thai food in the city.... If you like real authentic thai food, go here. If you like americanized thai food, go else where. I learned about this when a waitress at competing thai restaurant suggested that this is where the local thai people goes for thai food.

With striped walls the color of orange sherbet, this friendly little neighborhood restaurant dishes up classic Thai favorites on the cheap. Along with a tutorial on basic conversational phrases from the Southeast Asian nation, the menu features barbecued meats, house specials like the pla sawan (steamed snapper), an array of curry dishes and ample vegetarian options. Sweets like the fried banana topped with honey or ice cream finish off the meal.

Very good and inexpenisve thai food in the tenderloin. I have been here several times. It is great and my friend visiting loved it too. In fact, we went back another time while he was visiting. Be sure and try their thai cakes for desert. Keanu Reeves ate here,his picture is on the window. Yummy food!

Big Mistake. After a long morning of sightseeing we tried this Thai restaurant that was not too far from our hotel. What a mistake! The restaurant was dumpy and the pad Thai was a gooey tasteless mess.

Best Thai Food I've Ever Had!. I love Thai food. Sai Jai Thai is one of the few places that I can say serve real authentic Thai food. I feel that it's very difficult to find the exact ingredients used in food that's half way across the globe but the food here is amazing. This is as close as it gets! When you're in the need for spicy food be aware because when you say "spicy" they do SPICY. But Thai food wouldn't be what it is without the spice. The service is wonderful and the owner is the sweetest woman ever. The atmosphere is comfortable and the prices are unbeatable. I would recommend Sai Jai Thai anyday and everyday!

Recommended by Thai.. I remember my Thai friends use to tell me that many Thai restaurants here in the city are not that good. I was scratching my head not knowing what they were talking about since I like most dishs from any Thai restaurants. Well that was back then before I traveled to Thailand few times. Now I know what they were talking about. Many of the Thai restaurants here tone down their spiciness for the non-Thai customers. For me, I like my food cooked the way it was meant to be, "SPICY HOT". Their menu do advice you to let them know how spicy you want your food prepared, for your own good. I think that's why so many of my Thai friends agree on Sai Jai Thai Restaurant as being like home cooking. For anybody planning to go there, I recommend trying their specialty "pork shoulder".

Strip clubs and Thai.... ... I've never quite figured out the correlation between the two, but there is a plethora of tasty Thai food to be had in this neighborhood. Sai Jai is VERY unpretentious, the food is simple, but TASTY, and the servers are friendly - the other clientele are pretty colorful as well, so don't discount the amusement factor!

Best Thai Food I've Ever Had. I am white but I love spicy food. Thai is one of my favorites. I've met a lot of Thai people and they have told me this is the most authentic restaurant in San Francisco. The waiters/waitress and owner are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The food is delicious and the service is great.
