Best Korean in SF

We're not in LA or NY, you freakin snob. This place is the best Korean in SF. The service is nothing short of amazing and the food is pretty good and a bargain to boot. When was the last time someone was friendly and gave you a bargain in this town. Worth going to if you want Korean BBQ.

10 should be reserved for those resturants that serve the freshest and most delicious cuisines. This resturant is NOT a 10. The food here is sub-par. The meat is not premium quality, the side-dishes are somewhat bland, and the stews lack zest and clarity of taste. I am making an assumption that most of the different stews/hotpots are using a similar soup base. There are significantly better Korean resturants all over LA (see Chosun Kalbi on Wilshire) or NYC (Apkujung on 32nd). That said, this food is somewhat a bargain for the price.

Mediocre Korean Food

I'm not exactly sure what the whole hype about this place is...I have been to better Korean restaurants in the city! I probably would have been happier if I didn't come into the restaurant with such high expectations! The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great...I like my bulgogi tender and my kimchee fresher...I guess it's worth the visit if you're tired of going to Brother's and just want something new...but don't go in expecting very much!
