The Scene
Cluttered with elegant furnishings, this warm and subtly extravagant Russian Hill shop looks like a French country cottage. You'll need to spend an hour or two shopping or you might miss something.
The Goods
Large pieces include armoires, tables, shelves and handcrafted leather chairs. The massive selection of smaller items includes beaded lanterns, hand-blown juice glasses and quilts. The store also stocks bed and bath items, like verbena body lotion, hard milled raspberry soap, lavender blossom linen water, and kitchenware, including plates, napkins and tablecloths. A furniture-only showroom on 20th Street and Illinois houses more handcrafted and imported pieces as well as restored pieces from the '30s and '40s.
