I order it online!. I started ordering their coffee online. I believe in God! This coffee is so fresh and so amazing. It is so worth it! They roast the coffee the same day it's shipped and they date stamp it. So you know it's fresh. They even sent me a cool FREE peetniks hat. I felt like a valued customer with my first order. Can't wait for my next shipment or my next cup in the comfort of my home!

Polk Peet's is Top's. I've been to many Peet's over the years. The Peet's on Polk Street in San Francisco is the best of the bunch and seems to be getting better and better over the last year or so. Is it new management? The staff who work there are super nice and work their butts off through good customers and bad alike. Of course the coffee is always the best (like most peet's) and the pastry's are just too tempting to be had however I give in from time to time.

Cheers to the Polk Peetniks!

Even post-IPO, Peet's celebrates its bohemian upbringing with dark-roast beans.. The Scene
Since its Berkeley beginnings in 1966, the chain has swapped its beatnik spirit for corporate glory. Cool flagstone floors and rich mahogany-colored paneling make for a sleek stop, but not a haunt in which to linger. Once the den of intellectuals and fringe artists, Peet's went IPO in early 2001 and is now frequented almost exclusively by people who want the conveniences of a franchised coffeehouse without kowtowing to Starbucks.

The Food
The coffee is robust without being overbearing. Strong but not bitter, Peet's "deep roast" beans make for a fine cup of joe. Straight up or in a latte, its dark, full-bodied character carries through. Oft eclipsed by the coffees, a wide array of teas are also available. Oolongs, blacks and greens of all ilk can be enjoyed in a cup or by the pound to go. You can always nab a blueberry muffin or an orange scone, but why not opt for one of the fine French pastries? Almond creme croissants, buttery apricot bars or eggy pain crème fraîche studded with fresh blueberries pair well with the brews.

The One and Only!. Peets coffee is the absolute best...I love the flavor, the smell and the blue straws! Just the thought of having a cup of peets makes me wired! Beats Starbucks any day...with Peets I know what I am drinking is real and tasty!

Orgasmic coffee in the foggy city. Great coffee on SOMA and Castro. What better place to people watch and sip mind blowing coffee.

More Peet's. Peet's has been a favorite for years. I can't believe how busy it is getting - but still it is more than worth the wait. I just wish the staff was friendlier....
