WHERE R U?? – I am looking for a guy who went to the booths on March 13th (Tuesday), he lives in Orange County and he was 32 years old. This is Michael from Boston (I was doing a research paper), we met there. It is important that I find this person! His name might be Ken...I believe? Please contact me!!! :D (email: momosonic2000@gmail(dot)com)
Anyways, This is a safe place, the daytime staff was nice...don't know about the nighttime tho.
OWNER A**HOLE – THEY WILL NOT RESPECT U. THEY WILL TAKE TOURISITS WORD FOR IT. SHELLEY AND JAKE ARE COOL BUT THE OWNER WILL DISRECPT LOCALS - NO NEED TO GO THERE - THERE ARE MANY OTHER PLACES THAT DONT CLEAN SPERM UP OFF THE FLOOR WHILE U R THERE - GROSS!!
Historic spot on the Rebound – I've visited this place about once a month or so for the past year and a half whenever I was in town on business and was bored to death. They have a new dancer (Latino) Marcus or the Rico Suave, can't remember his name, but his is ABSOLUTELY amazing. He is the sexiest thing I've seen in a long time. His erotic dance is worth the admission and sitting through the other less talented dancers. He works of Thursdays. I'll be back on Thursdays. Hot!!!!
see this hot guy...! – this place is finally getting better its $20 to get in for an all day pass the dancers are ok but theres a new dancer that is a real dancer i think his name is Rocky hes latin and hella fine and he can really dance i spent like $70 on him he is so worth seein............
You get what you would expect – I have been selling the Nob Hill films to show in their
theatre and sending dancers to them on and off for
I have always dealt with a theatre manager named Martin and have been treated with the most respect possible
in this industry.
The theatre is kept as clean as possible, as are all the
side rooms where the 'Action' takes place
I was there when the theater opened in 1968 with a
film from J Brian I had provided 'Seven in a Barn' and
I will probably be there when it closes.
If your there, its not to see the grainy gay movies,
but the dancers can be fun. Check the billing before
you spend $30 to make sure there is someone you
find pleasing to the eye.
For whatever reason the dancers seem to be getting
older and less attractive.
The Nob Hill theater FOREVER!
Overpriced lapdancing – GalileoCitysearch's review got it right on the button. The "Headliner" was so muscled up that watching him flex was a turnoff. The guest was so clumsy he could not get his boots back on the correct feet.
The whole effort is to strip as soon as possible and get into the very sparcely populated audience to do the socalled lapdance. This is rubbing over a seated patron while covering the goodies and an occasional turning over to put the butt almost in a face. The announcement repeated several times made clear that the entertainers were paid by tips only and "The bigger the bill the bigger the thrill." More provocative stage action would be good. The male films in the background were sexier even though they were grainy.
And the place is vastly overpriced!
Way overpriced for what you get, a major disappointment! – I've always heard about Nobb Hill Cinema and hoped it would be as fun as similar theatres of it's kind that I've been to. But, this place was way overpriced for what it delivered. $30 just to get in and they don't serve any type of refreshments. The dancers were completely unattentive -- save one little guy who kept apologizing for the bland evening. I finally tipped him just because he didn't deserve to suffer for the lack of excitement in the club. They had three strip shows while I was there, which were ok. Punctuated by grainy, barely visable projected videos. The walls are lined with autographed video star headshots -- one assumes from previous appearances there. But no one like that in sight. I went late on a Thursday night thinking that the place would be hopping. But, only 5 patrons were in there and the dancers just talked between themselves. Mind you, if they had charged $5 - $8 to get in, I would be less critical. But, when you're charging $30 to get into a basically empty room I think that is totally unacceptable. And, I told them so when I left.
By contrast .... Swinging Richard's in Atlanta charges $10 to get in. And, the club is filled with up to 30 dancers who pay tremendous attention to the patrons. You pay for it in tips. But, that's a given and I don't mind.
You would think a world class city like San Francisco would have something similar. But, alas not at this time. Maybe Nob Hill Cinema had a good show at one time, but they only thing they were good at my night there was ripping me off. Oh, and don't get me started on the cruising "70's style" video arcade -- Lordy, aren't we past that?
never go there again – the stuff is extremely unfriendly and arrogant. i do not know why they claim to be the cleanest arcade in the west, haha, they do not even provide kleenex.... not clean at all.
BEWARE!!! Extreme Brute of a staff! – I just got thrown out of this joint for no good reason. If you want to avoid feeling like your rights have been violated in a place where you pay for services, do read on.
First of all, this place had faulty videos booths all over the underground arcade so I had to look and look to find a video screen that would not just take my money and go black. I finally found one which worked. Phew! Then after a few minutes I decided find another booth.
As I was doing so, one of the staff, a big and tall guy I had heard being refered to as Timothy, was making his rounds and making sure that everyone finds a booth. He had actually been down very shortly so i felt he was being a little strict about enforcement. I decided to make light of the situation and jokingly mocked him as I headed to my booth. I thought this would be alright as this is San Francisco where paying customers and staff of a business often have a very relaxed, casual candor, even to the point of joking sarcasm.
Apparently this does not apply to Timothy. I was about to open the door of a booth when he put himself in front of me. He told me to leave the building. I said that I was just going into the booth that i had used earlier but he said he did not like my attitude and that I must go. I tried to reason with him and said I was only playing with him but he would not hear of it. NO discussion whatsoever.
I guess I should have know better right??? I should have known that in a place where you pay for fun they would treat a customer like security treats you at the airport or in a government office. I guess in a place like this in our country you can behave like a brute to a customer rather than try talking and reasoning.
Give me a break! If one gets off on such power trips one should go join George W's army or something!!
