Anthony's is by far the most expensive shoe repair location...and the quality of repair can vary. Moreover, the owners are quite arrogant and rude. They can do exceptional, although excellent work, but you need to know as much or more about shoe repair than the owners. Generally, they do not take a good look at the shoe they are repairing. They sign you up for the quick repair which is often done with low quality materials. Once you get the shoe back, the repair may not last more than a week at which point, not only will you need to do the work again, but most likely the shoe required additional work that these knowledgeable people did not bother mentioning or suggesting. The customer will be horrified to be told within the month that the original work must be redone AND additional work also is required. if you question the quality of the work, the owners will twist the facts to suggest you are the issue because they do not stand behind their work at all...If they used quality materials AND discussed all of the work that should be done to repair the shoe, then the work would probably last for more than a month. So, if you return to ask why the work has not lasted more than a week, be prepared to be told that you are insulting them and of course they do not want to service you, so if you are dissatisfied, you need to go to small claims court....Getting quality work means you need to proactively insist that each inch of the shoe be discussed and the alternatives available for repair, BUT you need to get their attention to get a quality and appropriate estimate....So VERY PRICEY WORK; bad, rude attitudes and the quality of workmanship is unlikely to last more than a couple of wearings...BUYER BE CAREFUL with these hustlers. They don't seem to think they need your business and they sure don't care about the customer...just taking your hard earned dollars...In their opinion, they are king and they are doing you a favor to spend any time on your shoe.

Pros: can do quality work if you spend much time up front going over ever possible repair and discussing all materials to be used

Cons: they don't care about your business, often use poor quality materials so you will need to repair the shoe again within week AND they are over the top expensive

I went to Anthony's because it was close to work and was recommended by coworkers. Honestly, I was surprised to find out how much it was going to cost to fix the heels of my shoes, it was $5 less than what I paid for the shoes. I was even more surprised when she said I had to pay first, then she pointed to their sign that states you have to pay first. I paid in CASH. BIG MISTAKE. As every human does at times, I lost my receipt. I go in and explain I lost my receipt. She says that I have not paid and if I did pay their computer would show it. If you have a sign in your store that requires customers to PAY FIRST there should be no question as to whether they have paid when they come in to pick up their item(s).

Pros: Great Work

Cons: EXPENSIVE
