Horrible experience!. It was a horrific experience. I felt as if the person that was doing my hair was rude and close minded. When I told her what I had invisioned she was very impatient with my my idea. Then when I told her I usually have a girl that I go to,........ her mood instantley changed. She did a horrible job (my hair was done as if I went and bought a box at Target and did it myself) and left me sitting there like I was a 2nd class citizen. She did not once check on me or offer me anything to drink. She didn't even try to conversate with me. I was scheduled to get a haircut and was unable to because he was 1hr. late. My boy-friend got a haircut also and it was terrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible. They are a disgrace to hair salons!

Most Embarrassing Cut Ever!. 8 months ago I participated as a training model. I had long, healthy hair and was immediately chosen as a model for a hair cut. I received the worst hair cut ever! I did not see the instructor until the end when he had to come over and to help the student fix my cut. The cut had no style and my bangs were cut so short that I had the same cut as my 4 year old cousin who accidently cut her own bangs. I think this student had no clue in what she was doing. It took me 6 months before I was able to go back to my regular salon to get a hair cut. My regular stylist said it looked like she (the student) didn't complete the cut and stopped half way. Anyway, I will NEVER return to this salon again!

Two different salons. There are two SF locations for this place - Post and Filmore. I don't like the Post location b/c it is too busy and the service is mediocre. Filmore is much better - I go to Hannah for color and Eva for cuts and adore them both. Wish they would divide up this business into 2 listings here on CitySearch since Filmore is 'A' and Post is 'C'. Since they're so different it's almost impossible to write this review

Apprentice day worth the time. The guy that cut my hair had graduated another level a week or so before. He was not sure of him self. I got a bit nervous but the instructor was there every single step of the way. It took about 2 ½ hours and I look GOOD!

Melissa who does color is magnificent. My hair is so vibrant.

The lady that did my blow-dry was instructed to blow my hair straight to see what kind of cut I had before. It took her 2 hours. Her first time with my kind of hair. The instructor came by every few minutes observe and give direction I felt good about helping to train someone to do curly hair right. For those of us so blessed you know how hard it is to find a good stylist.

Altogether it cost me about $55.00 for a cut, color and blow-dry plus tips.

not worth the money or hype. Since I'm a poor college student, I decided to become a training model for DiPietro Todd. I ended up getting an appt with a student who was just about to graduate to the position of a full-time stylist. I was very excited at that thought, bc then I'd be able to only pay $15 for a haircut that's typically much more! He ended up giving me a haircut that wasn't what we had discussed, with way too many bangs and too much length chopped off. The cut was certainly not what I expected from a salon that's high-end and much talked about. He was nice enough, but the rest of the people who worked there were very snooty with much attitude. The atmosphere was chic, however. Still, I am glad I only paid $15... their haircuts are certainly not worth the $85 and up pricetag IMO!

Avoid this place. Very bad experience. Tried to post it three times.

This assistant program will waste your time and money and doesn't stand behind its work.

Poor service, bad attitude. This was the worst coloring experience I have ever had, and I've been coloring my hair for 15 years.

Please post this review. My last review was not posted... I don't know why not, unless the Salon asked to have it removed. But people should know that they don't stand by their work.
