The Scene
A favorite among ladies-who-lunch, well-to-do city visitors and image-conscious executives, this posh downtown destination hums with activity seven days a week. The second-floor space softens the buzz from its army of staff and clientele with soothing cream-colored walls, furnishings in calming coffee tones and distinct enclaves for cut, color, nail and makeup services. Spa treatments take place in sanctuary-like rooms that seem (and sound) miles away from the lively salon. A softly lit lounge and changing area with lockers are also available to spa-goers.

The Services
Classic European beauty rituals characterize the offerings here. The tiny crystals used in the Diamond Peel resurface and stimulate tired skin, while the quickie Vienna Peel freshens faces in just 30 minutes. For intensive invigoration, the anti-fatigue Moor Mud body wrap cloaks the body in warmth during a relaxing massage. Hair and nail services range from highlights to thermal reconditioning, quick polish changes to lengthy pedicures.

The Details
Massage, reflexology, body treatments, facials, hair removal, sunless tanning, make-up applications, weddings, manicure/pedicure, full-service salon, hair extensions, thermal reconditioning.

I've been seeing my stylist, Misook, for over two years now. She's great. I come in for a touch up on "my paint job". The highlights and tints are always great. I receive compliments on my color and cut regularly from friends, family and strangers. I highly recommend them. Also, it's easy to get an appointment--which isn't always easy in this town on a Saturday, last minute, or even planning 5-6 weeks ahead.

LISA FUKUDA-NGUYEN IS THE BEST COLORIST ON EARTH!!!! She intuitively knows exactly what you want, what will look best on you, what kind of routine will be most cost effective and fitting for you and your lifestyle, her expertise ranges from very funky to very natural and everything in between, she has an awesome personality and the best customer service I've ever experienced, she has great assistants who make sure your time there is as comfortable as possible, she works alongside of a great staff whom I have favorites I will also tell you about below. Needless to say from day 1 I am a lifetime client of Lisa's and hope she never quits!!! I swear you will be sooo pleased with her quality of work, prices and finished product... She's amazing! = ) While your are getting your hair done... while you are waiting, indulge yourself in a good gossip magazine, relaxing music, and a lovely manicure and pedicure! You will look so great with your new hair color and flawyless beutiful nails! I love and have grown attached to Tracy the best manicurist I've ever had. She has a great range of abilities too, and makes your nails look like works of art. Simply flawless...(and long lasting!) And finally, refresh your new hair color... with a new hairstyle and cut! Nothing compliments your new color better than a new cut, or if your feeling bold, try a brand new style! Or just add bangs, trim ends, add layers, or go a little funky or modern. My favorite hairstylist is Amy Hasushi. I've brought in photos of the haircut I desired and she gave me exactly what I wanted, and then some! And I've also gave her very vague instructions such as "do what whatever you think will look good on me" and I loved what she did! I've had the same hairstyle ever since! This is a great salon for everybody and I would recommend it to anybody. Great experience there every time, time after time. A+++++
