Great experience, solid results. I came to check out the reviews of Elissa at Soft Touch Electrolysis, who I've been working with for a couple of months, and was shocked to see a one star review.

I had consultations with a couple of electrologists and Elissa was BY FAR the kindest and most welcoming person I met. She is personable and friendly while remaining professional. She always checks in about my comfort level, but she works quickly to get the most value for my time and money. It is obvious from her high skill level and steady demeanor that she is very experienced in electrology.

One thing that really stood out was that she was genuinely invested in me being happy with my results -- not just getting to the next person in line. And I was! I am shocked at how quickly I have seen a major reduction in hair growth.

I recommend Elissa highly. If you're not sure, then have a consultation and see for yourself!

AVOID ELISSA. I would not recommend her services to anyone. She is not very good at what she does (i.e. she failed to remove some dark hairs because she wasted time removing light hairs that were inconsequential). Another aspect of my visit that was horrendous was having to deal with her rude personality. She is not the most culturally sensitive person I have ever met and was sure to suggest many other areas of my body for hair removal. When I pay for a service I prefer to not have the person performing the service insult me. I would rather give my money to someone who does a good job and is friendly!

Speed and Accuracy. I've tried laser, but I like electrolysis better because it's more exact, less painful, and more permanent. Elissa has been in the business for decades, and she is the best in the business (read: fast and accurate). Recently I?ve realized that I'm addicted to electrology almost in the same way some people are to tattoos or piercings (of which I have none). I'm a long-time fitness person, and I've found that shaping my hair growth goes VERY well with a sculpted body. The second best thing about it is that I no longer get that annoying shaving rash (or razor cuts). I've almost completed my torso, so that I have only a perfect "treasure trail" left. Now I'm working on getting the beard off my neck, the hair out of my ears, and off my nose, so that it grows perfectly on my face. My wife is stoked ;-) If you have a dream of perfectly shaped hair growth, then Elissa (and electrology) is for you!!!

Really the best!. Elyssa is great. Her service is professional and the location is so easy to get to. She is extremely knowledgeable and proficient in electrolysis. Anything thinking of electroloysis should go to her. Forget about laser, electrolysis is where it is at!

Good service. Elissa is very good at what she does and very personable. I have been going to her for a couple of years with great results in several areas. She's very knowledgeable about what can be accomplished in a certain amount of time and she is realistic. If what you want is not achievable she will tell you so, and she will make a plan that works for you and stick with it and she manages expectations well. She's also very centrally located if you work or shop around Union Square.

Efficient service for long-term hair removal requirements. Elissa is very professional and works extremely efficiently while taking into consideration your comfort. She can partner with you for long-term hair removal and is aware of the particular needs of dark skin.
