Editorial Review for Optical Underground Glasses – by Gina Goff

In Short
Myopic shoppers make their way down a wide staircase to reach this buried outlet's cavernous space. Frames by Oliver Peoples, Issey Miyake and Prada perch on neatly stocked shelves that line the minimalist space. Price tags reflect steep discounts, starting at 40 percent below manufacturers' suggested prices and progressively dropping an additional 25 percent every 90 days. A multitude of lenses are also available, including Zeiss Index glass, the thinnest available in the world.

++Fantastic selection at amazing prices. Owner rocks. -Staff can be a little dingy but well intentioned. comments: If you want glasses as stylish as chrome hearts, oliver peoples, paul smith, prodesign, and other fab brands you might see at stores like City Optix but don't want to throw down over $500 for a pair of frames this place is for you.

If you're looking for cheap, outdated frames, this is the place to go. If you want customer service, certainly avoid it. I ordered a pair of glasses there and it took over a month to get done right. The first time they put in the wrong type of frames and the second time around they put my mixed up the prescriptions in my eyes, which gave me a migraine for a month!!!! If you are willing to be PATIENT and want to save $20 to $60 on the frames (which are outdated) then this is the place for you

Pros: cheap

Cons: service, reliability
