Not Ture for 2/20/06 review. I wonder the 2/20/06's reviewer was calling the right restaurant? As I know that Grand Palace restaurant is under remodelling since 10/18/05, not open yet as of this date,3/19/06. How he/she could had a bad experience with the restaurant even not open?

Editorial Review. Traditional dim sum and meaty entrees, including pot stickers, barbecued spare ribs and more, are served up at this ornately decorated Chinatown staple.

Don't bother - they don't. After researching many Chinese delivery joints, I choose the Grand. They seemed to have a good menu and the right price for Duck....my favorite. After speaking with the manager, we couldn't communicate too well; I then got in touch with the check-out manager. She perfectly understood my order, communicated that the order would be between 30 - 60 minutes due to the heavy volume, and finished the order professionally. After 1 1/2 hours, I called back. The very same check-out manager informed me that there was no delivery that night. I asked about my order which she already processed. She said that they were too busy, that it was raining, and that I would not be getting my order. THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I have no idea if the food is good or the ambience is excellent, but the service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Horrible Dim Sum. Bad restaurant.. I very much disagree with the two other reviewers. I feel that the Dim Sum here is the worst that I have ever had - over cooked noodles, they do not de-vein their shrimp, greasy (not juicy) but greasy dumplings and other items also dripping with grease. They servers put the hard sell on you, and are generally dismissive. I found this restaurant to be very bad on so many levels that I cannot recommend it at all. From the table with the house stereo, fax machine, and time card system on it, to seating patrons at dirty tables, the apathetic and indifferent staff, the hard sell dim sum servers to the greasy, nasty dim sum, it is al bad.

Excellent Dim Sum. This place rates high on the meter as far as great Dim Sum. The food is fresh and good -get there early cause it gets crowded with locals and it seems like they cook fresh for the morning so when the batch is gone, well, that's it -it's gone. The bao is plump with savory ingredients, be it chicken or meat, and the dumplings are juicy as well. The decor and location is really nothing to talk about -it's all about the food.

The Best Dim Sum!. Grand Palace is a palace! This restaurant's location makes you feel like you're in a different land, and they have killer dim sum to add to the experience. Recommended!
