Best Mid-Week Break from Work. I love this place! It's the best spot for lunch with a mid-day beer. I had the best BLT I have ever had in San francisco at the Irish Bank. The sandwich usually comes with American Cheese, but I asked for blue cheese (which I have never had on a BLT before) and it was just AMAZING! The fries are crispy and the Lagunitas IPA is obviously good! Made for the perfect mid-week break from work. I'll be back (in a Swartzenager voice).

Great for lunch/after work drinks. This place is great for lunch if you work in the financial district. It's conveniently located (and I love that it's located in an alley). The outdoor seating is awesome if it's a nice day. In fact, the majority of the seating is outdoors.

They have awesome cider and have traditional Irish food a well as general American Pub food.

Great place to gather with friends.

Not worth your time.. We visit SF quite often and like to try new places. In January 2009, we dined here. It was a late afternoon weekday, not too many people in the restaurant. The service was horrible. Our waitress had a surly attitude, she forgot to bring one of our drinks, our food took forever - about 30 minutes - and wasn't worth waiting for. Our son is a waiter in an SF landmark restaurant, so we always try to be nice and courteous to wait staff, but there was no breaking through to the waitress. She ignored us for most of the meal and after waiting for 20 minutes after we finished our meal, we had to track down Ms. Personality to get our check. Won't ever go back.

GREAT find!. Authentic Irish feel, decor and menu. Fish & Chips were delicious as was the stew. Brew was cold and the regulars that were there were friendly and recommended items to choose from on the menu. Down a alley where they offer outside seating as well. We went during the week just after lunch hour so it was "dead" but from the looks of the outside area I would say on a weekend night this place looks like it could be fun!
