A Hidden Surprise
by CiteCR at Citysearch
We stopped in while we were walking around Chinatown. We ordered 6 spring rolls, 6 bbq pork steamed buns and 6 potstickers. Each dish was $5.00 each. It was a great deal.
The spring rolls were crisp and fat; not oily at all. The steamed buns were full of pork and not too bready, as sometimes steamed buns seem to be. The potstickers were in a class by themselves. They were huge; stuffed full of pork and vegetables. An order of these would be a meal in itself.
I would highly recommend the dim sum at Grant Palace.
- Pros: Great Dim Sum
- Cons: None
won't eat there ever!

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been (no kidding). Not only the waiter was rude, during the whole meal, he did not even bother to stop by our table and fill out water/tea. The dishes taste awful; the squids in one of the dishes were spoiled... We should have figured that this place is terrible from the fact that at dinner time on a Saturday in early summer, there were only 3 tables occupied during the whole time while we were there.
