Escobar Master Tailors. I Have used many tailors in the US including Escobar Master Tailors most of them are just out of college students recruited for measuring and the tailoring is done by people in Asia. so you ultimately rely on Second hand service at an Expensive price.in most of the cases it is cash upfront. I have tried a real visiting tailor from Bangkok, "Savile Row Tailor". He was recommended to me by my Business colleagues in Bangkok and travels for Measurement taking 2 to 3 times a year to the US. I had 1 Suit 450 USD and a deal of 5 Shirts for 300 USD. All inclusive of Delivery to my door step. delivery time is 7 to 8 weeks ,which is the same as Escobar Master Tailors and finished product / fitting is of a far better quality. you can check him out at www.savilerowfahion dot biz

Pros: better than any US service, Price

Don't use this tailor! Horrible customer service.. Escobar Tailors completely ruined a brand new suit of mine. I took a skirt into their Embarcadero store, a simple job, just letting out six seams. Instead, they let out some and didn't others, making the skirt look uneven, and worst of all, they cut into the skirt fabric. So the back of my skirt had a visible hole that they then tried to cover up so it looked like a Frankenstein patch. When I complained and asked for damages, they said I had to call the owner. I did and he said he needed to see the suit and for me to take it to his other store. He said he would meet me there. So I took it to the store. He never showed up for the appointment. I called him and he said he was on the bridge and would be there in 10 minutes. I waited two hours for him and he never showed up. When I talked to him on the phone again, I asked if I could just be paid the damages he owed me for the ruined suit. First he tried to harass me by saying I hadn't brought in a new suit. Then he said he wouldn't pay me, but instead he'd find me "one just like it at Macy's." I thought about taking him to small claims court, but decided $150 was worth it to have this incompetent business owner out of my life. If after all this you might be thinking about using this tailor, don't take my word for it. Just check out Yelp and you'll see that I'm not the only one who has had problems with this guy.
