Tea in the Rotunda offers a wonderful view of the store's beautiful design from up high.
Lied and sent open product.
They managed to ruin my Christmas present to my wife.
I called them and talked to Lana from Guerlain counter and inquired about a perfume. She seemed nice and helpful and she said she would send one to me ASAP. She had no idea about when it would arrive so I paid for 2 day shipping to get the perfume in time for Christmas.
I specifically asked that the perfume be in an unopened box (i.e. not returned nor display box) and she lied to me and said she would make sure it is an unopened box.
Of course when I got the package that the perfume box was in an opened box and the Neiman Marcus guys put some stickers to mask the previous box tear.
Now I was without a Christmas gift just before Christmas and I will probably never get my shipping refunded.
This store is strongly recommended if you want to get lied to and scammed.
best neimans EVER.
I am not a department store shopper. I love to support small boutiques and local designers. This Neiman Marcus is extraordinary. Particularly if you have a larger foot. I am a 10.5 & I have found Manolo's at this store for $100. Thank god for all the tiny women in sf! The selection of shoes during the sales at Neimans sf is grand if you've got big flippers!
enjoy!
I love Neiman Marcus. I love Neiman Marcus, no matter where I am, Dallas, New York and good old San Francisco. Every piece of my career wardrobe comes from this store, they really know how to target their audience, in my book. I recommend Neiman above its nearest competition in San Francisco, Saks Fifth. Their departments are so much more orderly in arrangement, and their staff are far superior when it comes to bringing excellence into customer service.
The 4* is because the stuff from their site has been really.
I returned a shirt I bought from their website at this store today. The lady at their customer service counter was pretty cool and didn't hassle me about it, as other stores would have if this wasn't Neiman.
The 4* is because the stuff from their site has been really sucky lately.
I should have learned my lesson.
I should have learned my lesson, but 2 years in a row now, Neiman has been "burning me" around Christmastime. By this, I mean that I constantly receive emails from them saying that there's still time to shop for a xmas present,...and they just don't send the gifts on time.
I swear, if it wasn't for their goodies I can't find anywhere else, I'd totally stop shopping from them in a heartbeat.
for crying out loud!. I just received an order I placed through this store today. The bad part is that I ordered it even before Christmas and it's just now that it arrived? This was part of a Christmas present, for crying out loud!
RUDE help.
so i totally shop online coz i'm too lazy to go to the store, and am not too enthusiastic about the stuck up help, as a matter of fact, which is one of the major reasons. but when i get jipped with a bunch of completely ugly stuff, i have to return them, right?
well, if i send it through the mail, i'll get charged shipping, so i have to return at the store.
what i always encounter is RUDE help, who act as if i just did something wrong to one of them or something. same thing, san francisco or palo alto stores.
considering i literally spend several thousand bucks a month on these bas$@%^&, i really do think i deserve better customer service!
Luxury department store combines haute couture and classic elegance..
In Short
In 1907, the first Neiman Marcus opened in Dallas. Today, you can buy ready-to-wear clothes at locations from coast to coast. Shelves hold merchandise from an all-star team of designers: Manolo Blahnik, Anne Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and more. The shoe department is small and upscale: think Fendi and Prada. Personal shoppers are available to track down the perfect Chanel nail polish to complement the Kate Spade bag that matches the DKNY skirt.
Neiman Marcus The Rotunda Restaurant. Fabulous is word that comes to mind, the view is great over looking Union Square. The food....excellent. The service is fantastic...I loved it.
just lovely!. warning, do not go here if you are intimidated by stuffiness! i love the pretentiousness of this place but it might not agree wtih some people. it has an old-school high-society southern vibe (since neiman's was founded in dallas). the food is excellent and the service is great. it's just a lovely experience and i think everyone has to try it once!
