It's so very PAST IT!!!!!.
"They say, we've got nothing in common.
No common grounds to start from.
And we're falling apart...
And I say what about Breakfast at Tiffany's.."
Only reason for the 2 stars is because my "props" to the whole book/Audrey Hepburn promotional thing. THAT, will always set Tiffany's aside from the rest. Audrey added the whole class thing, albeit her character was truly more of an escort chick, looking in from the outside.
Nowadays though, riding that and the whole Martha-esque turquoise box thing is so very 80's.
Honestly girls, do you really know that especially the sterling silver line is mostly made in China? Not directly from their factory. They have a couple of decent Paloma Picasso lines, for example, but once again -- riding on shirttails, right?
Move on. Shreve's maybe. Better class of people, and merchandise.
Or at least don't bother patronizing the store just for the name. It's so very PAST IT!!!!!
Well fine, the name will always be THE NAME, but let's face it, there are better merchandise elsewhere. And we'll just leave THE NAME aroound for promotional purposes because they're really good at it!
I can't even get that damn song out of my head now, haha!!!!!
Home to the blue boxes that represent classic style and impeccable taste..
From its legendary blue boxes to its ever-popular six-prong diamond solitaire engagement ring, Tiffany's is a staple in the jewelry industry. Although diamonds, emeralds and sapphires represent 70 percent of total sales, tableware, gifts and accessories are popular items as well. Pleasant and accommodating, the sales staff serves customers with respect, whether they're buying a $40 glass vase or a $40,000 diamond bracelet.
