all the big-footed ladies!~.
I am a size 10.5 in women's shoes. You have to check in at Jeremy's from time to time, but you can find fabulous shoes on sale at a massive discount because they were used in a photo shoot or just too big for most of the petite women in sf.
worth stopping by to find unique items.
Not a gold mine. When I go shopping for cloths I look at the following: fabric quality, color, cut, design. The higher the price, the higher my expectation. A high end label sets a high expectation, not a "free card" for flaws. At Jeremy's I really struggled to find anything worth it's price. Sure prices are discounted, but an originally $400 piece at $200 is still very expensive. There are several upscale boutiques where you can find marvelous things for $200. got the point? ;-)
Good shop. There are unique items i got. Nice place and very friendly people. I would recommend this to my friends and relatives. Good job. :D
Dirty, Damaged, and Discontinued. Yesterday I made my final visit to Jeremy's. I have given the shop several chances due to the rash of glowing reviews, here and on yelp. I now realize those reviews are written by staff and friends of staff. They have to be. I have never found a great deal at Jeremys. The stock that isn't damaged is at least 2 seasons old and WAY over priced. (I've seen way better prices at Macy's!) The majority of the stock is filthy, missing buttons, ripped seams, basically destroyed. Who buys this stuff? Who wants to wear rags with a high-end label? This store is a huge waste of time, parking is horrible, and public transportation to South Park is unreliable at best. SO not worth it, especially when all the real-good quality stores downtown are having major sales.
Great Styles for Fashionable wear .....
I've been to Jeremy's a few times and find their items are very fashionable. However, their prices are still in the high range, as it is not much more off of the retail. They do have a lot of cute shoes and accessories. Clothing and 1-piece dresses are also very popular. Not much in the men's department was worth coming to see.
Their items are still displayed as if you were shopping at banana republic or bebe. Very neat and clean. Prices are only slightly cheaper than original. I've heard the Berekely location has more variaties and styles to choose from, but I haven't been there yet.
It is worth going to check out. Location is not convenient, but styles are worth the drive if you can find good deals.
Nice Stuff, but still expensive. I was a little disappointed with Jeremy's since I'd heard hype about it and what-not. Possibly I might have had a better experience at the Berkeley location. Or a larger budget! Prices here are reduced and they do have a lot of designer-name choices, but most prices still fell outside of my budget. I don't recommend this place if you can't stomach $60 for a long-sleeved blouse, however designer it may be ... On the upside, they do have a variety of things, and lots of shoes, so you may get lucky, if you have money to drop ...
if you love a great bargain.... ...this is the place to shop! i went to jeremy's last week and found some great stuff at incredible prices. some of the stuff is new, but some is runway or customer returns (which means it's slightly used, but still in good condition with a price that's even more discounted than other merchandise). the staff was nice enough, and the woman at the register was very friendly and fun. i will definitely be back and highly recommend it!
The funnest shopping I have ever done. I was literally beaming when I walked out of the store today. My 'budget' was $20 and I wanted to know if I can buy anything with that much money. I did (two of them). It's so incredible. I didn't think that it was possible considering the items I am interested in is usually high-end items. I got a beautiful dress from the Ralph Lauren collection for $6 and another dress from Laundry for $8. I walked out of there $15.23 poorer but w/ the biggest smile in my face. The sales ppl were so laid back. They didn't even count how many items ppl were coming into the dressing room with. (with a price that low, why would anyone be tempted?). The shop is two blocks from my apartment. I am in deep trouble ;)
User review by squel1130. Jeremy's is a treasure trove! It is definitely better for women than for men, but you can get some amazing deals. I once bought a pair of new Manolos for $60 and a Chanel jacket for $450. You definitely have to search a little bit more for nice things but it is extremely worth it! They have sales pretty frequently as well. The clothes are modern and stylish unlike some discount places. There is nothing like Jeremy's in the world!
Amazing merchandise at even more amazing prices. Brand-new Manolo Blahniks for $120. Really, need I say more? A lot of stuff is in great condition (customer returns, etc) but some stuff is damaged, and the staff won't necessarily point this out to you, so look carefully before you buy. But great deals, and I've never had a problem with the salespeople!
