I LIVE for the sun dried yogurt sauce served alongside the kashk bademjan (roasted eggplant app). Great cocktails, Manhattan vibe.
Bold flavors, exotic ingredients, and intriguing preparations -cucumber spaghetti &smoked trout-are the highlights at this Persian eatery.
When it's on the menu make sure to order the big meatball "kutfeh" you won't regret it.

Maybe I am confused, but $$ I thought this meant moderate prices while $ meant cheap.
Cocktails for $10 has become a trend in San Francisco and put the meal for two that inlcuded the lamb burger, the duck and Veggy Kesteh (doubtful on the spelling) and two cocktails put us at over $70.
The menu is varied but the entry average price of $22 I don't think is that moderate. This review I guess is more about the people who are marking this with only $$.…
New best restaurant in San Francisco.. The best addition to the SOMA. I love eating out late and they open until midnight. Everything about this place is special. Amazing decore and fantastic service and food speaks for itself.
