Best!. Best coffee house in SF! Farley's is for everyone. Can't beat the t-shirts and mugs. Great hours, too. Also, Farley's contributes to the neighborhood with it's annual pet parade and holiday contests. Owner, Roger Hillyard, has got the biggest heart.
#1. Best coffee ever!! We love it!! I cant wait to get the delicouse coffee every morning!!
What more do you need?. Good coffee, great goodies and a great magazine selection. What more do you need on a Sunday morning? Staaf can be a bit 'distant' but in general they are friendly. I like the concept on the milk, only whole offered. I choose none, so stay with my diet plan. And none of those 'how much sugar can you put a cup' selections.
Good Coffee & Floor Show.
I have been going to Faley's for about 10 years and it has failed to disappoint me. Simple good coffee or lattes. No 'candybar in a cup' offerings to be had....Thank you! The staff is always friendly cheerful and few , well two in particular, will put on a floor show.
Well , it is always good fun around there. Always some type of on-going art show on the walls, music every once in awhile and the various customer participation shows during some of the holidays.
one milk, one cup, one love. I had the best latte that I've had in a long while when I stopped into Farley's this weekend. The service was surprisingly quick given the line *and* Johnny Cash was singing in the background. Despite coffee shops at every turn there are very few who make a really good cup; I had to get a second latte on my way out because I don't live closer to Farley's.
nifty coffe house. it's just beautiful being up there on protero hill and sipping coffee.
I Agree Unfriendly Staff.... I thought about visiting this Potrero Hill coffeeshop during my visit to a friend's house. My friend took me and let me know that their was no skim milk...for my dieting requirements, and that the staff was much too testy. Nevertheless, we went anyways and were treated with a very unfriendly lady at the counter. I asked her if she was going to ever carry "skim" milk and she basically just shrugged her shoulders and huffed and puffed. I wouldn't go back there even if the coffee was pretty good. Who wants to give business to a place where they don't feel welcome?
Cool Coffeehouse. Bowl-sized cups of joe, a great selection of new magazines for sale, tasty baked goods (but what happened to the toasted English muffins they used to offer?) and lots of tables perfect for journal-scribbling or reading. Worth the trek up the hill.
