Edith is awesome. Since I've moved to San Francisco I have had many different hairstylist and not one of them could get my hair right. Everyone of them made me look like I just left boot camp. Now I have high expectations considering I dated a hairstylist for 3 years and since I moved from Chicago not one could get it right until I met Edith. I told her what I wanted and she did it perfectly. No clippers so I don't look like I just left boot camp. She and her staff are very friendly and they cater to your needs. Thank you and I'll see you next month.

Quality and convenience. I first tried this place when I started working nearby and have been coming back ever since. Marco always does a nice job with my hair. He and his wife are very nice and have been cutting hair for years. The location is very convenient and they take their time to give you what you want, rather than rushing you in and out like some places. The vibe is pleasant and relaxed. They really listen to you and will be happy give suggestions if you ask. Do try them if you work nearby.

Won't go anywhere else. I have been getting my hair cut here for 4yrs and have been more than happy with the service and friendliness of the staff. Not only is it a haircut that makes me look good, it?s extremely consistent. I know exactly what my hair is going to look like when I walk out. I recently moved to the east bay and tried to find a new place to get my hair cut. I found that I had to pay upwards of $60-80 in order to get the quality product that I was finding @ One Twenty for Hair. Two thumbs up?way up.

Excellent hair salon. A friend of mine recommend 120 For Hair about 3 years ago and been going back ever since. Marco is an excellent hair stylist. Always cutting my hair to what I like and not the other way around. Never been dissatisfied with any part of the service. Appointments are readily available. Quality of the cut is excellent. The price is friendly on my pocketbook. The charm and warm of the salon is superior. I highly recommend 120 for Hair. It's terrific!

Reliable, efficient and polite. I started going to 120 For Hair in the late 90's when I was an executive at Chevron--so by now that is more than 60 men's haircuts. They have always been accomodating and friendly, appointments are on time and efficient, and the haircuts are clean, modern, and earn compliments. They usually have tasteful Latin pop music in the background and that's nice too.

THE place for a haircut.....and some relaxation. I met Marco & Edith (owners of One Twenty for Hair) approximately 13 years ago when I stumbled into their salon looking for a haircut. I received a very warm and inviting feel in their salon and have been a loyal customer to them since. I not only leave with a wonderful cut every time, but I enjoy their company and almost consider it my relaxation time. I learned that many of my colleagues from work are also customers of Marco and Edith, which isn't surprising given the quality of their work and the fact that they have established themselves in this area over the past 20+ years. I have gotten to know their entire family over the years and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a good cut.

On a side note I was really shocked to read a recent post criticising their business and the service they received. I guess some people are more concerned with bickering to save a buck than getting a quality experience.

Great Service and a great place for perms!. I always get my hair permed here and it lasts forever. The shop is run and owned by a husband and wife team. They are very friendly and are dedicated professionals.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD EVER HAD!. When I entered the shop, the owner kept saying sorry for the customer who seems unhappy and ready to leave. I only asked for a treatment instead of a hair cut because of the bad feelings. After the treatment is done, the lady would not give me a blowdry unless I pay more for a hair cut. I got anry and left the shop with my hair damp. I SWEAR TO GOD THIS IS THE WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE EVER!

haircut happiness!. I discovered 120 for Hair and started going to Marco when my office moved nearby. Now my office has moved down to the peninsula but I still work out a time to come to the city...I just cannot see replacing my perfect haircuts with some unknown...

It is a great salon, family atmosphere, dogs on Fridays, and simply the best hair care services and products. Try them out!!!
