cheap @ 2nd st. Anybody that does lunch regularly downtown knows there are few really cheap spots. Well, Mings is f***ing CHEAP. The food is totally average Chinese buffet status, but its cheap. If you get a fresh batch of something it can even go up to good. Save a buck on lunch today, that's what I did....wow I'm full...
Good Food at Cheap Prices. This place is great - a cheap lunch option in the financial district, and you'll become a lunch regular once you try it. Lunch could actually be under $5 depending on what you purchase, but regardless, it's inexpensive, and it's good. They have a buffet-style, where you can pick-and-choose, or you can order at the register something on the menu. I like the chow fun. Some of the food is a little Americanized, but not overtly so. The service is friendly - just don't interpret the efficiency as rudeness - it's not! Just go! You won't be disappointed.
Great food, big portions, under $5. For under $5 you can get 2 items at the steam table. You have a choice between fried rice, white rice, or chow mein. You also get to choose 2 items, i usually get the orange chicken, monglian chicken, salt pepper pork, etc... They fill the box up to the top, so you can split it to 2 meals. Definitely worth it.
