Really Authentic Chinese Food!. This is a great place for lunch if you are looking for Chinese Food. But if you want nice environment, this is not the place. Go there if you are there for the Food. And if you want authentic Chinese food, be sure to order from the Cashier and not from the pre-made stuff they have. If you look behind and above the Cashiers, there's a list of hand written menu with all kinds of food, and they will make it after you order. By the way, they also open on Saturday.

A sign on the wall at this huge, two-story Chinese restaurant warns, "Only one person per seat!" Despite its unassuming decor and abrupt counter service, Financial District and SOMA professionals pack the space at lunchtime to enjoy heaping rice and chow mein dishes for $5. Food is served in three lines: speedy steam-table service, specialty orders (food is delivered to tableside via numbered tokens), and take-out.
