Disappointing Lunch

by Lind at Citysearch

Met a friend for lunch. I used to go to EB all the time. This last experience changed my mind. Basically our table was surrounded by fruit flies the entire time we ate. It has become less and less charming to watch a cat strolling in and out of the kitchen considering what cats like to chase. Had a Ceaser Salad with Chicken. Chicken was dry and chewy and many of the romaine lettuce leaves we wilted. Thje service is always good, great waitresses. However, overall things have gone down hill. With all the choices to eat in the city I think I'll pass for the near future.

Burgers and Motorcycles

by Lauren Hannah at Citysearch

This place is actually pretty good. I like the atmosphere (the walls are covered with old motorcycles). The hamburger is totally awesome. The only problem I have with this place is the cleanliness... They actually have a three-legged cat roaming around the restaurant during business hours. I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of orange cat hair in my french fries...

  • Pros: good burgers
  • Cons: not clean, crowded, have a cat

Great Time

by lawdog300 at Citysearch

My wife and I found this great bar after buying our 51 Chevy. The atmosphere was great! There is an amazing collection of classic motorcycles, live swing piano with singer, great food and great service. I wanted to stay all nite. I think some of the other comments are pure slander. Thanks

  • Pros: killer atmosphere

the worst experience at a restaurant EVER

by yogagrl13 at Citysearch

A group of us went for dinner, when we arrived were told that our reservation didn't exist.

1 hour after being seated, our drinks finally arrived- several were incorrect.

After another 20 minutes, the waitress took our order, & let us know that one of the items we wanted from the menu wasn't really available, she also told us she never reads the menu ( what?!)

45 minutes later, our food arrived. It was mediocre at best, and expensive.

When I went to pay the bill, I let the waitress know that we were not happy with the service we received, (in a non-confrontational, " just so you know for future reference" way) She then proceeded to yell at me across the restaurant as I walked back to our table, and contined to yell as we left the restaurant, and said nasty things to the other people in my party.

  • Pros: none tha I can see
  • Cons: slow service, abusive waitstaff, incorrect menu

Reservations Not Honored

by kuanmei at Citysearch

I called to make a reservation for a large group. I was told it would be "no problem". However, they did not take down my phone number. When my party arrived, they were told that they were too late and they had already given away the table to another group. We were told that the restaurant policy is to hold tables for 15 minutes and then they can give them away. However, we arrived before the 15 minutes were up and the party sitting in our table was already eating bread. Extremely poor customer service.

  • Pros: don't know
