The Best across the Board!. Van Craeynest are the only jewelers using turn-of-the-century techniques to hand-make their divine antique-inspired jewels that I know of. I haven't seen similar workmanship anywhere except in European museums, and that's no word of a lie! I've placed my original engagement diamond into style 1019 recently (transferred from a Tiffany solitaire setting) -- and I couldn't be happier. This jewelry makes modern settings look drab and uninspired, as it is alive with three-dimensional natural motifs all balanced beautifully by the eye of master craftsmen and of course Larry's own training (as a sculptor). Do yourself a favor and check out their website, don't be afraid to give Larry a shout and remember that prices quoted are for 100% custom work (and are often less expensive than you might imagine).

Consider Van Craeynest. I had Van Craeynest make a platinum engagment ring and matching wedding band for myself and an exquisite 18K gold wedding band for my fiance.

I looked for a very long time for a jeweler whose ideals and style matched those of my own. I wanted rings that were extremely well designed and constructed, but also lavished with the details and mastery of a true artist. I found all of these qualities in Van Craeynest's work. They do not take shortcuts that otherwise compromise the quality and durability of jewelry, but their prices are also very reasonable. Larry really understood what I wanted; he understood so well that our rings exceeded my expectations and my imagination! To me wearing one of their pieces is like having the most detailed sculpture wrapped around my finger and being able to take it with me anywhere. I especially enjoy the fact that their pieces look spectacular both from far away and up close. Sometimes I look at my rings and just get lost in the details. Most beautiful handcrafted jewelry that I have found ANYWHERE!. I originally found Van Craeynest for my wedding set since I was looking for a place that would do very specific custom work. They took on the job and showed me through their impressive shop where they do all the work on premises. They are actually the last place on the West Coast that does REAL hand forged work. I have since contacted Larry for many other family jewelry needs. These guys are really the best!
