Shocked at the lack of service.

After reading the reviews of this Staffing Service, I thought I would give them a try. I submitted my resume to them online, and after not hearing from them after about a week, I decided to see if I could come into their office and see them in person. I was immediately turned away, with the receptionist advising they do not take walk-ins. (Which was shameful, since Premier Staffing is across the street, and were extremely gracious to me).
I finally heard a response via email from Mc Call, basically telling me that my resume was not up to par, and they only had lower-level administrative temporary positions that would be taken by others that had more priority over me.
I won't be responding back, after that email. Premier Staffing has been amazing, and I am getting the job done on my own. Maybe times are tough now, but come on. Show a little decency. You never know who is going to write about you on CitySearch or Yelp.

Good Service - Kept Me From Claiming Unemployment For Now

I recently lost my job I had for five years as a portfolio manager. I stumbled across this company in google and applied with them a while back. They did place me with a short term job, which I'm thankful for. I just hope it could become something permanent. The pay is slightly less than what I was making, but I'm fine with that as long as I have money coming in. The people at McCall were very nice and seemed to really care about my situation.

I am based in New York and was organizing a big event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Mari saw my event listed and contacted me to introduce herself and McCall. A few weeks later, I found myself in a bind and called her back. On short notice, she found 2 great people that were able to work the entire 3 day event. The people were prompt, jumped in where needed and interacted with the rest of the event team as if they had been there since the beginning. I highly recommend them!
