Best Curly Hair Stylist, Ever.. Just wanted to say thanks for the great cut! Can't find your website out there and my hair is looking so good today I needed to tell the world... Deena seriously you are the only one who has *EVER* been able to cut my curly fuzzball head without telling you exactly what to do, which I can't, because I don't cut hair.

Oh, finally! A great haircut!. I've been looking for a hairstylist for months now, and finally found him! Thanks to a recommendation from a friend who always has a great cut and color I called the salon and got in the next day. The salon is absolutely fun just to be in, and Travis was awesome! Told me what he had in mind for my cut, and went to work..I've been getting compliments all week on my new do! Get ye to Glama-rama!

Purple Wigs and Pink Walls...Awesome. I was having separation anxiety from my old hair stylist since moving to the bay area from Tacoma. But now that I've found Elise at Glamarama, I am never looking back. I had really long hair and wanted a change. I gave Elise free reign to do what she wanted; all I asked was that it be a little funky and incredibly easy to manage. And man, did she deliver. I got the cutest cut which is shorter in the back, with some longer pieces in the front. And thankfully she didn't touch my bangs, which I am trying to grow out, but hid them in the curls of my hair. I am loving it, and I don't miss the 9 or so inches that fell to the floor. The service was great, everyone was really friendly, and I'll be sure to request Elise the next time. Oh, and the mini neck rub during the shampoo was like icing on the cake!

a-ok haircut, nothing too special. For some reason I expected more out of Glama-Rama... I think b/c I had heard so much about them, they have involvement in the club scene, etc. The haircut I got was all right, and they took me as a same-day appointment, which was great, but there was nothing really special about it. I originally left unhappy with my cut, but felt pressured for it to be over b/c the stylist had another client waiting. I called about it later that day, and the stylist touched it up/cut more for free the next day. While that was nice, I think it'd be better if they made sure I was happy before I left, rather than having to go back. I haven't gone there since, and likely won't.

Best Haircut & color ever!. Okay! I am one of those indecisive folks when it comes to a haircut. I brought in about 10 pictures from short, medium to long. I used citysearch and checked out the recommendations.

Dena is my choice. She did a super fabulous job! love her! I will be going back and i had raving comments and passed her name along to quite a few co-workers. Even after 3 months, my haircut still looks great!

I've loved the Glam since 2003!. Deena and company are fun, fabulous, and talented stylists. Sandy B. is a particularly talented colorist who has been flawlessly transforming my hair for five years now. She's taken me from blue-black to lipstick red; matched my natural color when my life required a more conventional look; chocolate-cherry to my current shocking pink. It's obvious that Sandy's passion lies in creating beautiful color for all tastes and styles. Highly recommended!

Bang for your Beauty Buck. Glamarama is a hoot, but that's not why I go there. I want an excellent haircut, and I want it for a decent price. Christina does a terrific job -- I always get compliments for weeks after I get a cut -- and for $55, I can scoot out for $70 with tip. Considering that Christina cuts my hair so skillfully that I only need to visit 4x a year, it's a steal -- especially by SF standards. Highly recommended!

You can say-"Do whatever you want". Ever been too afraid to tell your hairstylist "I don't know what I want-just do what you think is best !" and then had either the worst expression of what looks good on you or something so extreme you don't leave the house for a month? You'll never be afraid of a hip, stylish woman with sharp scissors again-- Deena knows how to use them to bring joy to getting a hair style that makes you want to go find happy hour somewhere cause you're looking good! I highly recommend this salon for it's ease of getting a haircut, to the great products available, the music in the background and the great feeling having an excellent haircut. Wish my hair grew faster.

Avant-garde dyes and 'dos are the specialty at this South Van Ness salon.. In Short
More old-school beauty parlor than salon, the brightly-hued room adorned with outrageous wigs will immediately put you in a festive mood. Stylists here are sought-after for their edgy cuts and creative dye jobs, priding themselves on their diversity and individuality. Don't forget to pick up some product; the salon carries a wide array of premium hair products, including Bumble & Bumble, many of which are available in trial size.

Wow!. I love this place!!! Just moved from the east coast and I had no idea where the hell to go for my hair. Suzanne cut it and did an amazing job. Everyone there seems well trained, stylish and treats you like a new friend. Plus, the environment is rocking. Highly Recommended!!!!
