Good Mall. They have all the chain stores. They have a pretty good food court and also a few upscale restraunts.
Nice mall, just not Stonestown Galleria.. Westfield San Francisco Centre is a nice shopping mall, but it's still not Stonestown Galleria, There's no Giants Dugout Store;nor is it as prestigious. The concession stands aren't as good either. So,if you have a choice between a shopping trip at Westfield San Francisco Centre or Stonestown Galleria, your first choice should be Stonestown Galleria.
All in one for the out of towner!. Yes, it was huge, and somewhat overwhelming since this really seemed to be two vertical malls in my opinion. You've seen all the stores before - anchors were Bloomies, Nordstrom, and of course the usual additions with Brookstones, Victoria's Secret etc. The REAL FIND is the food court and the Bristol farms store. Food course includes Korean, Japanese, outrageous gelato - unbelievable selection. Or Bristols grocery with fresh produce, salad bar, hot foods. Movie theater - all great for an easier night if you have been touring all day!
The Mall is great but it needs someone to light the fuse!. What a nice mall, I mean it was ok before but now it?s very nice. I?m really confused about the marketing behind the new mall or even wonder if there is any. Me and my friends frequent the new Bloomingdales mall quite often mainly to eat and see movies at the new Century Theaters. And, the Theaters?? awesome. The mall has these three restaurants on the 4th level a place called Straits, Lark reek, and Zazil. We try to stop by one of these for a drink before the movie. Straits was ok, a little pricey, Zazil is our fav due to the huge Tequila bar and reasonably priced snacks. Ok tell me if this makes sense to you. The mall closes before the restaurants do, but there is no promotion to the passer by, weird. If it wasn?t for the movie theaters how would anyone even knew that these places existed. What was Westfield thinking, ?Hey lets open up a Mall put some restaurants on the top for and not tell anyone they are there, they?ll figure it out?. Oh one more thing on that topic, why would you have picketers outside of your own front door (the mall) everyday? I wonder how many people turn away daily because of this nuisance. Isn?t Westfield a smart company or maybe their just a money hungry monopoly. You be the judge. But hey go to the movies and eat some good food, it?s up to us to keep the stores and restaurant alive, Westfield sure doesn?t care.
This sleek mall offers one-stop name-brand shopping near Union Square..
In Short
Fans of open-air shopping around Union Square may bristle at the sight of this multistoried mall at the corner of Fifth and Market streets, but none can deny the Centre's impact on the area. Visitors wind their way up curved escalators designed by Mitsubishi through four floors of shops, and food courts on the lower level enable mall rats to spend hours perusing their favorite boutiques without having to venture far for nourishment.
Wild shopping spree. My friends (there kids) & I just love Shopping Centre it has everything for even the young kids & teens. If we cant find in the centre we just go near by and find loads of great places. We had a great wild whirlwind experience & it took only 2+ hours!! Stop by the Nords for great lunch, then go to the teen shops for those hip Johnny collars, get the kids happy w/ some pretzels or eggrolls, adults w/ cappucinos or Starbucks chais & we are off to find more bargains for the rest of the family. Stop by the dessert place downstairs for a quick pick me up before heading home. Enjoy!
