Extremely disrespectful bouncers--treated like a criminal. I was only in the DNA Lounge for the about 30 minutes before I was rudely dragged out after having done nothing wrong. I'm underage (20), prefer to dance sober, and I would NEVER disrespect a club's liquor license, so of course I didn't try to drink anything alcoholic. Later, however, I went up to the bartender and asked for some water so she gave me a cup. After my first sip a very hostile security guy comes up to me, grabs me, and demands to see my ID. I show him my ID and calmly explain that the cup I was holding contained water--the bartender even confirmed that it was only water.

The security guy refuses to listen to anything I'm saying (even though I'm completely calm and completely sober), he won't even smell the cup, and then he drags me roughly out of the club. I ask him if I could just talk to him for a second and he insists that we talk outside. As soon as we get outside he immediately throws my cup of water out and slams the door on me.

The bouncers are extremely disrespectful and did not even have the decency to even quickly smell my cup. I was a law-abiding, paying customer and they treated me like a criminal. I should have at least gotten a refund for the way I was treated. Nobody warned me that I might get thrown out for holding a cup of water.

At the DNA Lounge, the bouncers might just decide to exert unnecessary force and throw you out for invalid reasons, just to abuse their power. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB--the bouncers are hostile, rude, and just plain mean.…

Hot chicks. The first time I went here was on a friday, and tons of goth girls showed up. Wow! They were wearing little tiny leather and vinyl outfits, looked dirty (in a good way), and mean (in a good way). Now I usually go on the last thur. of every month when goth night is, but I havn't been too impressed. I think you should stick to Fridays at this place. It's a good solid crowd at Remedy filled with decent looking people. Get the drinks at the upstairs bar (in the back room). You get your money's worth.

Pop Roxx every 4th Saturday of the Month. I go to DNA almost every 4th Saturday. Diverse crowd, great music, plenty of room. I've had some of my best and worst experiences here. Sometimes the Dj's are incredible (if you have a chance to see DJ Mike Relm please do so) and sometimes they are god awful. Almost always the crowd is very cool and the dancing is great. I don;t bother drinking when I go, the drinks aren't that great and the bartenders are snooty, but if your looking for a good time sober style this is the place.…

Quite a conundrum, this place.. I don't quite understand this place. The dance club was great, I danced my toushie off and it was a blast. But, I don't quite understand why they had so many bars!!! I mean, one or two, ok, but they had like 15 bars in this place, and everyone was sloshed! Whenever I was dancing there were like nine people around me just struggling to stand up (and dancing at the same time...you get the idea). So, I basically felt like I lost my 15 dollars!…
