Best Gay Bar Ever says Brandon Yip!. Oh my what a great place to hang! After spending an evening here, I now know why this place is called THE STUD! So many men, so little time! Great drinks, gorgeous bartenders, wall to wall men and great music to shake your booty to! I can't wait to come back to The Stud!

After taking some "Studs" home with me that night, I couldn't walk right for a week!

SoMa's hard-core gay pickup joint with dancing galore.. In Short
A relaxed ambience, pool table, model train circling the bar and several pinball games are all here. However, several nights of wild and wacky programming make this boys' haven unique. It was one of the first clubs in the city to host a gay hip-hop night and bring scenes like trash drag and queercore to the fore. Not too heavy on the testosterone, the club also hosts several pumpin' dyke nights.

and good music too?. lots of cute boys AND good music? Both in the same place? well, Sugar at The Stud on Saturday nights is the closest thing to it. The music is good, I'd almost go there just for the music. It's a small club and on Saturdays it's usually pretty crowded, but I always seem to find a place to dance. All types of guys, leaning a bit toward the younger and cuter and away from the older and beefier crowd. If the bars in the Castro are too queeny for you check out The Stud. I've only been on Saturday night.
